MBA/MEM
Justin Elicker is a third-year student focusing on environmental policy, politics and governance. Prior to his arrival at Yale, Justin worked for five years as a Foreign Service Officer for the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C., Taiwan and Hong Kong. His portfolio in Hong Kong included reporting on air pollution in southern China and its effect on U.S. commercial interests in the region. Justin graduated from Middlebury College in 1997 with a B.A. in Spanish and computer science. He has also taught English in Taiwan and French at a high school in Connecticut. Justin would like to combine his background working for the U.S. government, his international experiences in China and Latin America and knowledge gained in business and environment at Yale to develop better policy approaches to conservation and sustainability issues both domestically and internationally.
