This lecture series brings distinguished alums back to campus to discuss the link between their career paths and their educational experiences at Yale.
The purpose of the lecture series is to strengthen a number of areas within the joint degree program, including:
1) Creating a connection among former and current students that builds an institutional history for the program;
2) Exposing students to a broad spectrum of career opportunities for those interested in business and the environment;
3) Providing students with insights from the professional realm to help them decide how to structure their course work; and
4) Building a common set of experiences to form a link among students in the joint degree program
Each lecturer will present a current issue or topic of interest in their field and then relate that topic to their experiences at Yale and their subsequent career path. Attendance is required for SOM/FES joint degree students and the series is also open to anyone from either school that has an interest in the subject matter.
