Curriculum

Yale University strives to be the academic leader in business and the environment, in part through a diverse set of courses at SOM and FES. By studying courses at each institution, and elsewhere at Yale, students gain a strength of knowledge and experience that helps shape them into tomorrow’s leaders.

Students at SOM follow an innovative core curriculum during their first year. During the second year they build their elective list from courses at SOM and other schools across Yale.  Browse SOM courses...

Learn more about how new case studies, guest speakers (Richard L. Sandor, Chairman and CEO of the Chicago Climate Exchange), and the international experience at SOM are incorporating business and the environment into the curriculum.

Students at FES complete a set of core courses appropriate to one of four masters degrees, and design the remainder of their curriculum from courses at FES and other schools across Yale.  Browse FES courses...

SOM/FES joint degree students complete the SOM core, the FES concentration requirements, electives at both schools, and two summer internships. The three-year program leads to an MBA and your choice of MEM/MF/MESc/MFSc from FES.
