With a broad background in investment advisory, natural resources investments, and management consulting, Lindsey’s career represents a nexus of business, investing, and renewable natural resources.
Most recently, as Managing Director of Global Client Service and Relations at Cambridge Associates, a global investment advisory firm to Foundations, Endowments and family clients, Lindsey worked closely with strategic clients and prospects; led and moderated over 60 global investment client conferences and roundtables; and also initiated and co-headed the firm’s Large Institutions Practice. She was an integral part of the firm’s client services and communications strategy more broadly. Lindsey held multiple leadership positions, including Global Head of Consulting, and has served as a member of the Executive and Senior Management team throughout much of her 15 year tenure. In addition, Lindsey served as an investment consultant to multiple nonprofit institutions on general investment issues such as asset allocation strategy, manager selection, and program evaluation.
Lindsey created, developed and led Cambridge Associates’ first External Relations function which comprised global business development and client relationship management. She also managed the consulting practice across the firm’s U.S. and international offices and oversaw the consulting, analyst, marketing, training, recruiting, client service, and staffing departments.
Before Lindsey joined Cambridge Associates in 1999, she was the strategic planning officer, and later, a portfolio analyst/manager for the Hancock Timber Resource Group. In her portfolio management capacity, she was responsible for investments of over $400 million in both a commingled fund and separate accounts for corporate and public clients. Lindsey was also a senior consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton, where she consulted to the Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Coast Guard. In addition, Lindsey has worked in various capacities for three nonprofit institutions.
