Join Dan Esty, Director of the Center for Business and the Environment at Yale, and his colleagues Eric Orts (University of Pennsylvania), Magali Delmas (UCLA), Sunil Chopra (Northwestern), Michael Lenox (University of Virginia), and Thomas Lyon (University of Michigan) in a symposium that will explore the challenges and opportunities of "Building Sustainable Business Programs" on Sunday, August 9, 2009 from 11:30-2:30 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago - Grand A.

This symposium will feature presentations and discussion among academics and how they have been involved in building programs related to sustainability and environmental management in business schools in various academic settings. Discussion among panel participants and the audience will focus on an open-ended approach to reflecting on what has worked and what hasn't worked over time. In addition, panelist and the audience will be asked to focus on new thinking about how to encourage institution-building for "green management" in the future.

At the symposium Dan Esty will be discussing Yale's efforts to prepare environmental leaders for business and society through the Center for Business and the Environment at Yale.
